  • Typically, there is a first visit, labs (if needed), and then a follow up visit to review labs and finalize a plan. Follow up labs may be necessary in three months, six months, or annually depending on the results of your labs and goals. Once your labs are stable and you are on a good health path, you can choose to follow up as needed or prevention minded on an annual basis in tandem with your primary care physician.

  • In order to give patients the best care, Dr. Trudy prepares for the appointment by reviewing the patient questionnaire- as well as any prior labs submitted- in the days before the scheduled time. When information is not provided at all or provided only at the time of the visit, it is not the best use of time or money.

  • Dr. Trudy likes to see the specific ingredients contained in each bottle. This is also an opportunity for her to educate patients on what they should be looking for on supplement labels and how to read them.

  • Sometimes Dr Trudy can advise an initial course of treatment depending on labs provided by the patient - it is dependent on the type of test provided, its impact on what condition is being treated at present, and timeliness of the results.

  • No, Dr Trudy will recommend other quality brands. She will not recommend low quality supplements.

  • No. In the state of Florida, her Chiropractic Medicine license falls under primary care however the philosophy of her specialty is based upon using diet, lifestyle, and the health of the nervous system in the cause and prevention of disease. She will refer to another physician if a prescription is necessary to address a particular condition.

  • Appointments are based on time needed. There is an initial sixty-minute consultation which is one on one with Dr. Trudy. Follow up appointments vary in time based on what’s being done.

  • Cash, check, credit card, HSA, and FSA. Nutrition services and lab work are cash-based services.

  • How do I communicate with Dr. Trudy between visits for questions or status updates? You will have a patient portal in which you can leave a message to be read directly by Dr. Trudy or you may leave a voicemail for Dr. Trudy’s patient care coordinator.

  • Nutritional consultations are secured with payment due to time requirements. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please be considerate and call at least two business days in advance or you will forfeit any refund.
